These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of goods by private consumers through the Arkine srl website and store. It is not possible to provide VAT / CVR numbers via the website. If you wish to purchase on behalf of a company, please contact our customer service at info@arkinedesign.com

If you place an order on the website on behalf of a company within the EU, you will be responsible for the VAT claim, not Arkine srl.

 

Payment

We accept the following debit and credit cards: VISA, MasterCard and EuroCard. We do not charge any fees for credit card payments. All prices are communicated in Euros.

 

Buy

To purchase items from Arkine srl you must enter your personal information and payment information. Once you have placed your order, you will receive an automatically generated order confirmation by e-mail. When your purchase has been accepted and the item is completed and ready to ship, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email.

 

Delivery

We deliver our products all over the world. At the moment, we cannot guarantee delivery dates and times. Please inquire via email at info@arkinedesign.com regarding packaging solutions, shipping and delivery estimates.

 

COVID-19

You may experience delivery delays, as regulations change every day, which could prolong customs clearance and shipping operations.

 

BREXIT

All UK order deliveries may be delayed due to BREXIT. Each order will be processed in compliance with current legislation.

Shipment

All the goods are shipped from Italy. The transport costs and / or estimates will be communicated to you before payment. We carefully pack the goods in protective wooden crates and / or boxes to ensure that the products arrive in perfect condition. However, if the content is damaged upon receipt, please report it immediately to the carrier and to us. For any damage, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt at info@arkinedesign.com

 

Returns and Exchanges

Items purchased from Arkine srl are fully returnable within 14 days of receipt.

Items must be returned unused and in the same condition as they were on receipt, in the same original packaging. Returns and exchanges are at your own risk and expense and must be handled by you.

If you wish to return your order, please contact us by email with your order number and reason for the return. Please contact us at info@arkinedesign.com before sending the item back to us and we will provide you with directions for the return. Please note that the return shipping costs are your responsibility.

After receiving the item and approving the return, we will transfer the purchase amount to your account within 14 days. Remember to keep the post office receipt and / or a tracking number as documentation that the goods have been sent to us.

Complaints, disputes

Arkine srl operates according to the guidelines and laws established by the National Consumers Union (https://www.consumatori.it/welcome/). We are open to feedback and complaints and are committed to easy, reasonable and acceptable resolutions.

Please contact us for any problems regarding the goods purchased from us.

In any case, complaints can be presented according to the rules established by the National Union of Consumers by calling the number +39 06 32600239 (https://www.consumatori.it/risolvi-problema/). This means that you can file a complaint for defects and faults in the product, which manifest themselves within 90 days of purchase. However, this does not apply to defects, damage or wear caused by misuse, lack of maintenance or ordinary wear and tear.

If you live in the EU, you can use online dispute resolution (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) to judge complaints about goods or services. If the claims are valid, you will receive a refund of the shipping costs within fair limits. When you return the item, please inform us of the problem in as much detail as possible. Make sure the item is delivered safe and sound and make sure you get a receipt for shipping so we can refund the amount.

 

Safety

All communications between our payment system and the cardholder are made via an encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) line. In other words, only Stripe and PayPal have access to your data. It is not possible for us or for any other unauthorized entity to see or read the data exchanged in connection with the purchase.

 

Customs duties and VAT

If you order from an EU member country, you pay Italian VAT but no customs duty according to the rules of the free movement of goods. However, if you order from a country outside the EU, local taxes and duties may be added, for which we cannot be held responsible. In this case the courier will contact you. Please note that this may result in some delay in shipping as the goods are held by customs. From now on it is your responsibility to contact the courier and pay the additional costs.

 

Colors

We cannot guarantee that the colors on the website are fully equivalent to the actual colors of the items. This partly depends on the color settings of the computer and monitor.

Natural elements and conditions of the products

All our products are handmade with natural materials (ex: wood, limestone, iron, ceramic) and we DO NOT deliver perfect and industrially manufactured goods.

Woods and other materials are subject to natural imbalances which can cause cracks, openings, uneven surfaces, colors, patinas etc.

We strive to provide a detailed description of the goods. However, we cannot guarantee that the materials will always appear and will always be in perfect condition. Please inquire with us about the condition of an item before purchasing.

When you buy a product from Arkine srl you automatically accept that we subscribe to receive our newsletter. You will receive information on new products, special offers, events etc. This service can be deactivated at any time if you no longer wish to receive newsletters.
